I’m here thinking of writing, but the summer slips by while I blink away the sunspots. Our days have been filled with series of day camps, special activities (like fairy house building), park days, swimming, movies, tinkering, building, experimenting, jewelry-making, glass, just to name a few.
The newest contender on the block is Magic: The Gathering. I might have to buy cards. I’ve already had to learn how to build a deck. If you knew me well, you’d be rolling on the floor laughing. Really, really hard. Perhaps endlessly.
The pause of summer is about to kick into Fall without a hiccup or a quiet. Soccer starts next week and then it’s back to our regular chaotic schedule.
Oh the fun of it all.
The summer wanes and whispers “wait and catch your breath”, but I already am running to the next season.
The boy is a year older. No time to spare.
